EX rank supporting role’s replay in a prestigious school - Chapter 803
MITRON closed earlier than usual, the spring-themed decorations on the shelves still stocked up.
‘Is it because of me? I asked him to meet somewhere else though.’
But Ryu Jang rejected the offer.
I understand since many eyes were watching Eungwang High, and the Silent Crow Demon King Sidelentium can’t use his powers outside.
I only wanted to talk to Ryu Jang, but it seems like Sidelentium wants to watch in person too.
Now that it’s come to this, I should buy some snacks for my freshmen juniors from his shop.
‘Eunho, his neighbor Cha Seokwon, the Class 1-0 dorm kids, the newspaper department juniors… there is a lot now that I’ve thought about it. It might be burdensome if I buy too much and carry a lot, so perhaps I should buy small snacks.’
While thinking if strawberry yogurt macarons would be easier to eat than cranberry & strawberry financier, Ryu Jang finally appeared.
Instead of his patissier clothes, Ryu Jang was dressed casually.
He must’ve changed clothes when he left for a bit.
“You must be choosing snacks for your juniors.”
How did he know that?
He continued to speak as if he could read my thoughts.
“You usually buy snacks for your classmates in the morning, Student Jo Euishin. I thought it would be for your juniors this time since it’s the evening.”
That is true.
My classmates go to their elective classes or leave early to do what they have to do in the afternoon.
We rarely get together during dusk, and if we do eat snacks together, it’s usually during the day.
Ryu Jang continued.
“I’ve heard about freshmen talking about you, Student Jo Euishin, when they visit the store. I was told that a sunbae of theirs said that the snacks here are delicious, that’s why they come.”
My hoobaes did that?
They’re all kind people, so I guess it’s true.
It was worth buying the snacks since my juniors enjoyed it.
I should buy some for them today too.
“I’m glad my juniors liked it.”
“I agree. I think it’s more thanks to the person who bought it for them rather than purely its taste. It seems like I won’t have to worry about sales as long as you are in school, Student Jo Euishin.”
Ryu Jang was modest.
If MITRON’s products weren’t good, no one would visit the place regardless of my promotion.
I replied so, but Ryu Jang only laughed.
Instead, he recommended some cookies.
“My cookie sales have gone up. There are quite a few students who ask what Student Jo Euishin’s Bbang Shuttle bought.”
“He must be buying a lot of cookies these days.”
“Yes, he buys some whenever he meets his girlfriend.”
Perhaps because he’s eaten a lot of bread while serving as my Bbang Shuttle, it seems like Bang Yoonseob’s taste has changed.
Bang Yoonseob suddenly buying cookies every day would surely pique people’s interest.
But how did Ryu Jang know that Bang Yoonseob and Choi Younghee are dating?
It seems like the words spread quickly even though Bang Yoonseob didn’t openly talk about it.
He’s had a lot of conversations with Ryu Jang, so perhaps he got caught buying some pastries when he confessed.
— You’re here.
I passed the long corridor into the store and was welcomed by Sidelentium.
As before, the demon wore a crow mask and spoke with no sounds.
— How was your trip to the Dragon Palace?
I didn’t tell him about that, but Sidelentium must’ve got an idea.
I think it’s a waste that he keeps on the sideline when he knows that much information.
However, I think there are some perks to it too.
— I couldn’t intervene or watch everything since the Dragon Clan and Tiger Clan worked together. But I have a guess as to what happened.
Then, Ryu Jang showed Sidelentium a device hologram.
Scanning the screen quickly, Sidelentium said,
— Did you find out about the secret contract of the Oh Family and the Sea Dragons at the Dragon Palace? The place where the clue to that secret is hidden was recently attacked.
Sidelentium beckoned and Ryu Jang showed me a group of holograms as well.
The screen showed an article on the attack on the law firm office that Joo Soogyeom visited.
Sidelentium seems to have known that the law firm had something to do with the Oh Family’s misfortune.
He seemed to be waiting for me to talk about what happened at the Dragon Palace, but I came here for something different.
“I want to talk about something else.”
— I thought you’d asking for something in exchange for a detailed account of what happened at the Dragon Palace. What a shame.
“I’ll tell you about the Dragon Palace when I think of something I need.”
I intend to release only the information that wouldn’t harm the Dragon Clan or the Tiger Clan.
“I want to hear about what happened at the Fomorian auction.”
The Fomorian demons were wary of interventions from the royal lineage and superior beings at that Halloween Party.
It was obvious from the boundary that they summoned.
That day, Heukma from the Horse Clan and Seodol from the Rat Clan were present, and a few Celtic gods made interventions.
‘But it was mostly humans who worked that day.’
As much as it blocked superior beings and royal lineage, the boundary was weak against humans.
At that time, the humans at that auction were as follows;
Phantom Thief Neon Ong Gildong, who has an order from the god Midhir.
Druidess Goo Seulbi, a student of the incubus Merlin.
The King-Worthy Sung Gukeon, Jeon Muyeong, and me.
And the Crow Demon King’s agent, Ryu Jang.
It was the humans who shook that auction.
“That day, the patissier-nim said that he made arrangements to find the coronation stone.”
“Yes, that’s right.”
Ryu Jang was straightforward.
When I brought up the sword that I encountered with Ryu Jang and Seodol before, Sidelentium and I had the following conversation;
— I was looking for a treasure called Lia Fail at the request of a Morian.
— Did you find the stone?
— Yeah. My contractor is excellent so the mission is completed safely.
At that time, Ryu Jang roughly explained what he did to the coronation stone.
He didn’t give much details, but he said that it was an arrangement to return the coronation stone to the people of Tuatha Dé Danann.
The method was highly related to Ryu Jang’s light skill, so I opted not to ask since it would be considered rude.
He took care of the coronation stone, and I thought it would be okay since he said that it was at the request of a superior being.
That’s what I said to Sung Gukeon too.
But now is the time to be sure of things.
“I want to know what kind of power you used on that coronation stone, and what happened to that stone now.”
Instead of answering, Ryu Jang turned to Sidelentium.
I guess the answer isn’t something Ryu Jang can give of his own will.
— Let’s hear the reason. Does it have something to do with the Fomorian Demons coming to Korea?
“They want to ask a king-worthy man to destroy that stone. They’re looking for him in Eungwang District.”
— I knew that. But I think the king-worthy man will be able to deceive their eyes.
Sidelentium has an understanding of the Fomorians’ activities and even Sung Gukeon’s responses.
It’s terrifying how he can keep his mouth shut despite knowing all that.
There’s no way he wouldn’t know what I was trying to say.
“Someone is trying to assassinate that man.”
— Assassinate a Korean lawmaker? That’s unusual.
I guess he didn’t know about this one.
If even Sidelentium doesn’t have a hold on this information, that means we’re going up against a stealthy and quiet opponent.
“That’s why I want to know everything that I can use.”
As if weighing the values of information and assessing the intention behind my words, Sidelentium was lost in thought.
He might be worried about revealing Ryu Jang’s light skill.
Soon enough, Sidelentium spoke again.
— Alright. Tell him. But I have a condition.
I immediately nodded.
I can do this much.
Regardless of his will, Ryu Jang seemed to have no complaints despite having to reveal his light skill.
“It’s not as much as the Demon King-nim, but I also like you, Student Jo Euishin. I think it’s okay to reveal my power.”
After everything, Ryu Jang even offered to give me the snacks for free.
I gave an excuse that he closed early because of me so I had to pay, but I guess he really wants to give them to me.
I may have caused too much damage to Ryu Jang, so I swore to buy a lot of MITRON goods for my juniors from now on.

Cherry blossoms began to bloom near the end of March.
In time for the cherry blossoms, the tigers carried out something they had planned since last year.
“It’s my first time at an amusement park!”
“It’s like playing a game on VR, but this one’s cooler than pictures!”
“I want to go on that one first! But I heard that you have to line up before you get to ride attractions at parks like this.”
Eunho’s descendants looked around the Hwangmyeong Theme Park, unsure of what to do.
Full of cherry blossom decorations, the theme park in Jamsil previously operated by Namgung C&T was waiting to reopen.
No, more than a “relaunch,” it seems like a completely new amusement park was in place as new mascots and attractions are seen.
‘He said he would build these things with otherworld ore and strength from powerful players. He did everything to make it safe.’
The Hwangmyeong Theme Park is protected by a strong boundary.
This place, where the tragedy of Seokcheon Lake once occurred, may become the largest evacuation site in Korea.
With that in mind, tiger mascots that looked like guardian gods of the theme park were placed everywhere.
The tiger mascots were newly designed for the theme park, and they were decorated with cherry blossoms to match the spring atmosphere when the place will be reopened.
‘I went with my classmates last time, but it felt more like a Namgung park back then. I’m sure it will feel like the first time if they visit again.’
Meanwhile, Hwang Jiho, the owner of the theme park, spoke with pride as if he felt rewarded for splurging money.
“Hahaha! No need to stand in line today. Ride whatever you want to ride. However, you have to stick with this body for safety.”
“Yes, sir!”
“Thank you, Hwangho-nim!”
I was happy to see the kids in a good mood.
And for something else.
Woof woof!
The little angel was wearing a tiger mascot costume and circling me.
The angel must have wanted to enjoy the park right away, so I hugged him in my arms.
But then, I thought of something else.
‘It would’ve been nice if Baekho-gun came.’
Eunho wouldn’t come because of his descendants, but Baekho-gun voluntarily stayed behind.
My ultimate playable character can’t leave Eungwang District, and this theme park is in Songpa District.
It’s almost like a new theme park, so I thought it would’ve been nice to have it built in Eungwang District.
However, I was careful not to say it out loud because Hwang Jiho might really do it.
I followed the descendants to the attractions they wanted to see while I thought about the tigers who couldn’t come with us.

Thanks for the chapter, Ms. Translator! ( ˶ˆᗜˆ˵ )
Ryu Jang’s ability? True, we don’t know much about his power except that he is more powerful than the blue violin team master, Jain.
Nice chapter as always, and looking forward for more! ٩(^ᗜ^ )و ´-

Thanks for the update! Aw, we don’t get to know yet? Cowabummer. Anyways, I want to see and pet Olmu so! Bad! Dogs are just perfect existences! Olmu must be suuuper soft and fluffy and out of this world adorable. Of course, Olmu is the best of both worlds being both a small, fluffy dog you can hold in your arms, and a warm, big tiger you can bury yourself in. Now I wanna go find my dog to snuggle… I would love to see the theme park, too. I’ll stop here for today, and not bother you all with my gushing.

I feel like that’s foreshadowing- sometime in the future they will need to find Baekho’s name so he can travel all over. It’s really sad for someone who valued his freedom over everything else to be stuck.
