- Chapter 798 - A new Class 1-0 (9)
Freshmen area, Gymnasium 1.
The audience entered while the Class Zero juniors were warming up in their sports uniforms.
News of battles spread really fast in Eungwang High, and so people quickly flocked this time too.
Compared to the sophomores and seniors who were busy attacking otherworlds during the vacation, there were many more freshmen students here.
All of them looked excited as they were about to witness a fight in Eungwang High for the first time.
As a bonus, the old tiger looked excited too.
“Ha, I can’t believe I’d be witnessing something like this. I’ve lived long.”
Hwang Jiho said so as he bragged about his age.
I hope Hwang Jiho and I don’t forget that we’re here as members of the newspaper department.
He’s a mythical tiger and the head of the Tiger Clan, so would he really let the clan’s grandchildren participate in this?
It’s hard to compare, but if Chokryong and Yeom Junyeol fight for purposes other than education, the entire Dragon Clan, starting with Cheongryong, would surely stop them.
Ah, perhaps not the entire Dragon Clan.
As long as Yeom Junyeol wouldn’t get hurt, Yong Jegun would look around and watch ecstatically.
Hwang Jiho lowered his voice.
“Jeokho and Baekho came to see this fight. They’re hiding behind Jeokho’s fog.”
There were more tigers present here than I thought.
To come here and watch while hiding themselves, I could feel how much the Tiger Clan cares for their descendants.
Now that there are several tigers present here, I don’t think there’s going to be a chance for anyone to get hurt.
“Hahaha! I hope they get close through fighting.”
I guess that’s how the old tigers got close to each other too.
Does he expect Eunho to get close to his grandchildren through this fight?
I think it would only deepen the emotional burden and misunderstanding, but it may be better than living without knowing each other at all.
But there’s still something that caught my mind.
‘Wouldn’t the juniors be hungry? It’s almost time to eat. It’s a tournament style too, so wouldn’t it take too long since there are a lot of battles?’
Why does the chairman of the school sit and watch idly by when so many freshmen are gathered during this time?
Even I felt like going to the cafeteria to get something to eat.
“Jo Euishin, it’s about to start. Where are you going?”
“Cafeteria.”
“Hm, you seem to have a complaint. Do tell.”
I didn’t want to reveal my inner thoughts, but the old man’s sharp senses detected it.
I decided to be honest.
“I’m going to buy snacks for the kids.”
“You are? You are very kind to your juniors. You don’t have to go. I will have it prepared.”
Anything that Hwang Jiho prepares would be delicious, so I decided to trust him.
When I was about to take a seat, Eunho looked this way and approached.
It was refreshing to see him wearing the school’s gym uniform.
“You’re all here. Thank you for coming.”
“Hahahaha! It’s a chance to see you fight. I can’t miss this.”
“I’ll have to live up to your expectations.”
Eunho didn’t panic over the disturbance being caused just because of their class’ elections.
I was relieved to see Eunho calm.
Wouldn’t it be nice if Eunho was the class president?
Eun Seoho, Eun Iho, and Yoon Yeorang are all great kids, but Eunho has a lot of experience.
Eunho frequently served as the head of his organization when he was Cheon Sungheon.
He decided not to run during the student council president elections, but if he did, he would’ve been elected with a landslide vote.
‘And he was the head of the Tiger Clan during the mythical age.’
However, such history is impossible to use to appeal to the juniors, and looking at the current situation, I don’t think they’d yield even if they were informed.
While talking with Eunho, Cheon Eunha’s hyung rushed this way.
“Eunha-yah!”
Eunho may have asked Cheon Dongha to come to see him.
As if he rushed here right after the Student Council meeting, several members of the council were behind him.
Among them was Joo Soohyuk, who smiled at me and Hwang Jiho.
‘Much better than when he was acting all stiff.’
The misunderstanding was resolved when Joo Soohyuk talked with Ahn Dain.
And not long ago, an important event happened for the two of them and those who support them.
Both of them were at the top of their class, and as a result, were both placed in Class 2-1!
In PMH, Joo Soohyuk entered Class Zero during his sophomore year, so the two of them never became classmates.
Moon Saeron said she felt proud just looking at Class 2-1’s classroom door, and so did I.
‘In the next student representative meeting, we’ll have Joo Soohyuk and Ahn Dain sitting side by side as the class president and vice president.’
For Class 2-1, it was truly difficult to select their officers.
Even if they voted again and again, Joo Soohyuk and Ahn Dain each received twenty-five votes, so they couldn’t decide on who would be the president and the vice president.
When the conversation shifted that the class president should be seriously considered for various reasons, Ahn Dain conceded.
Joo Soohyuk said there was no need, but Ahn Dain was adamant.
— When we were freshmen, I was put in Class One thanks to your concession, Soohyuk. Because of that, I got the chance to have Professor Kim Shinrok as my homeroom teacher. I’ve always been grateful for that.
The top student should be in Class 1, while the second should be in Class 2.
But since they were tied, someone had to make way.
As a result of the agreement between the parties, they used alphabetical order to decide, and Ahn Dain was sent to Class 1-1.
Joo Soohyuk said that he didn’t concede, rather it was the result of a fair agreement, but Ahn Dain didn’t change her mind.
And so Joo Soohyuk became the president, and Ahn Dain the vice president.
‘The votes were always tied. That means the two of them wrote each other’s names.’
If they wrote their own names, the number of votes would’ve changed and the class president would’ve been chosen quickly.
From the start until the end, they wrote each other’s names.
I was happy just hearing an anecdote about the two geniuses of Eungwang High.
“Are you okay? I’m a little worried. This year’s Class 1-0 seems a little radical. I was a little relieved as the Student Council President that you’re in Class Zero, but now…”
Meanwhile, Cheon Dongha kept worrying about his brother.
Even though he knows that Eunho is of royal lineage, it’s inevitable for him to worry because he’s witnessed how his brother suffered from Locked-In-Syndrome for a long time.
“Thank you for your concern. I asked you to watch because I wanted to show my skills, so please be comfortable.”
“Yeah… I must’ve been too worried. Ah, I haven’t introduced you to the Student Council members yet. Guys, this is my brother, Cheon Eunha.”
After exchanging words, Cheon Dongha introduced Eunho with confidence.
Those who glanced at Eunho with curious eyes came to greet him as if they were waiting.
Cheond Dongha’s dongsaeng, TC Group’s son, top student, Class Zero… even if they didn’t know Eunho’s identity, he would’ve attracted much attention.
I heard a distant voice whispering.
“The son of a large group is in Class Zero.”
“It’s not the first time. Class 3-0 has Geum Chansol and Wang Chansol sunbae, and Class 2-0 has Hwang Jiho sunbae.”
“I think I’ve heard of that before. I forgot.”
“The heck, all three Class Zeroes have one.”
“…I knew that kid would be in Class Zero.”
There seemed to be a student who knew Cheon Eunha, and when I looked at the kid, I saw a familiar face.
It was the student next to Eunho during the interviews at Eungwang High.
They were asked a tricky question since their grades were so close, but the interviewers might’ve been more impressed by the calmer answer.
‘The hoobae who heard about the live “hyung bragging” has entered the school.’
I felt dizzy just thinking about it.
Of course, Baekho-gun and Cheon Dongha were more of a “hyung” to Eunho than I am, but for now, I was also given the title.
“It’s starting.”
When Hwang Jiho’s subordinates finished distributing popcorn, hotdogs, soda, and juice, the game soon began.
I wanted to greet Eun Seoho and Eun Iho, but the two were concentrating on warming up.
Soon after I waved at Yoon Yeorang, who was late because she lost her way, Gong Cheonghwon came forward.
“Let me confirm the rules. The goal of the tournament is to decide on the class president and vice president. The winner will be the president, and the runner-up will be the vice president. Is that correct?”
“Yes!”
A loud answer responded to the good-natured voice that rang out in the gym.
The Class 1-0 kids seem to follow Gong Cheonghwon well.
It’s in contrast to when GeumChanWangChan first rebelled to Jegal.
“I see. It is indeed better to select the class president in a way that the class members would understand. I will be the judge as requested. Overpower the opponent, but if anything goes overboard, I will intervene.”
“Yes!”
No matter how diverse a class is, if they have a homeroom teacher who speaks like that, they’d surely follow him.
“Is the battle schedule ready?”
“Yes, we prepared it in advance!”
“Ssaem, we’ll send it through your device.”
Thanks to Eunho, I also have a copy.
The tournament table was created through a rigorous process of drawing lots, negotiating, and exchanging by agreement.
I thought it was a little extra, but they seemed serious about it so I decided to wait and see.
Of course, there were concerns.
‘They won’t meet right away, but tournament-wise, Eunho and his descendants would meet in battle.’
Eun Seoho and Eun Iho are descendants of the Tiger Clan.
Unless they do what Kim Shinrok does through the energy wave link, those two children can’t fight against the Tiger Clan.
That means identities would be found out through battle.
Perhaps some measures were prepared to hide the truth, just as when Eunho hides his true name.
‘What would Eunho do? He said he wanted to show his skills, so that means he’s going to fight.’
After checking the tournament table, Gong Cheonghwon spoke.
I knew both of the names that he said.
“The first match is between Cheon Eunha and Yoon Yeorang. The two of you, come forward.”
Yoon Yeorang jumped out with a cheerful step, while Cheon Eunha calmly walked forward.
The two stopped at where Gong Cheonghwon instructed them to.
‘Those two for the first match…’
It’s better than having Eunho’s grandchildren fight, but I was still torn on who I should cheer for.
“Start!”
“Waaah!”
Amid Gong Cheonghwon’s signal and the elicited cheers from the audience, the confrontation between the former head of the Tiger Clan and a Dragon King’s Shaman began.

Thanks for the update! Man, I don’t know who to cheer for either. Yeorang is so lovely, but Eunho is very precious as well… Whoever wins, i’ll be happy. But Yeorang probably won’t, as Eunho is well, thousands of years old and not human. And with the way he was talking, he seems to have no plans to concede. Anyways, “for now”. Sure Euishin. Be in denial. Someday you’ll have to accept that you are Eunho’s precious hyung till the end of time. I greatly look forward to that day. Back to the tournament thing, I hope Eunho wins. Love the kids, love Yeorang, but Euishin is right in how he is much more responsible and experienced. The new 1-0 is already a handful, hopefully is he won it would offset that a little. But that thing at the end… How is Eunho gonna handle fighting the kids? Of course, maybe they won’t meet, but that’s a bit boring especially with it being mentioned like this. I’m really looking forward to seeing the descendants fight anyone, not just Eunho. We haven’t seen them fight at all. We heard they studied, and I’m sure they’re talented, but what weapons do they use and all that? They’ve mostly just been around being cute and being kids. I can’t wait.

Oh, by the way, I don’t want to make any more work for you, but i just wanted to let you know that the site transfer seems to have removed puncatation from earlier chapters, if you didn’t already know. I’m not sure how many it is, but when i went to reread Euishin getting told off after the Sacrifice Week there was no quotation marks. Making it hard to tell when people were speaking. I had the advantage of reading it before. Though again, please take care of yourself! As I wish I could tell Euishin, you can’t give your best to others if you don’t take care of yourself.

…. thanks for the chapter.
the current irregular update schedule really messed with my daily schedule… but oh well, a beggar can’t be a chooser.
now back to chapter,
Dongha-gun… that was such an understatement; “This year’s Class 1-0 seems a little radical”.
just a little radical? we’ll see about that… hehehe
also, they should never have removed the dorm bomber from class 0 rooster.
as for other normal students… Well, it seems that the cupids are always working hard on the background for the stupid hero’s love affair. I won’t nitpick on him tho…
As for the tournament. I won’t cheer anyone. I’ll just join in for the fun.

Thanks for the chapter, Ms. Translator. ৻( •̀ ᗜ •́ )
Although I’m rooting for Yoon Yeorang, it seems like Eunha has a 99 percent chance of winning. ヾ(- ᴗ -)
Nice chapter as always, and looking forward for more! (๑≧▽≦๑)o
