- Chapter 795 - A new Class 1-0 (6)
Eungwang High Residential Area, 17th floor of the freshmen building.
Eunho skipped the dormitory orientation and headed straight to his assigned room.
Just a few days ago, this room was being used by Jo Euishin.
‘So this is Euishin hyung’s room.’
The dormitory room was as clean as new.
After every school year, rooms are kept clean and wallpapers are remodeled if necessary, but Jo Euishin’s room had nothing to tidy up.
Eunho felt happy when he heard from Hwangho that Jo Euishin wasn’t very inconvenienced with moving his things.
He remembered Jo Euishin’s goshiwon room which, except for his PMH playbook, was neatly organized and didn’t have clutter.
‘He’ll be more likely to stay at the mansion if he doesn’t have a lot of things.’
Eunho decided to think positively.
After clearing up his space, he answered a message from Cheon Dongha.
He would use his free time to complete the chronology of the old days, but he had a different idea.
It was about Eun Seoho and Eun Iho, whom he made eye contact with after he recited the freshmen oath.
He knew very well the appearance of those two because of the unsolicited pictures and videos that Jeokho showed him.
He was actually preparing himself for when he had to get in close contact with the two, but when they met each other in the classroom, it was relatively calm.
‘Is it because I don’t deserve to be their grandfather?’
Eun Seoho and Eun Iho didn’t recognize Eunho.
Even Yong Jegun once couldn’t tell that Eunho was of royal lineage, more so for children who are hundreds of years less experienced.
Of course they couldn’t recognize him.
After seeing Cha Eunha, the descendants rushed away and said,
— We won’t lose!
— Let’s win!
Shouldn’t they compete with the second-placer first before him?
Perhaps they don’t see the second placer, who isn’t part of Class Zero, as a rival.
Eunho thought so, but he gently smiled and replied, “Yes, alright.”
Eun Seoho and Eun Iho’s fighting spirits burned brighter at the sight of the relaxed Eunho.
The situation was dealt with safely, but strangely, the faces of the two kept coming to his mind.
He was also reminded of the child that he couldn’t even name.
Ok Toyeon once said that those children looked like their mother.
Eunho got up from his seat to stop these thoughts and headed to the balcony, opening the window and welcoming the cold ear on his cheek.
‘Euishin hyung saved a student on the first day of school.’
A year ago today, Jo Euishin readily revealed his power and saved Kwon Lena.
Jo Euishin’s powers didn’t grow much compared to that day, but the thought that he did things and saved many people without hesitation elicited a bitter smile on Eunho’s face.
“Hi?”
Another student seemed to be enjoying the night breeze.
Looking at the person, he was a playable character in the game.
The student’s name is Cha Seokwon, the second best after EUnho.
“You’re Cha Eunha, right? The kid who led the oath? I just found out that you’re in the room next to me. I’m Cha Seokwon from Class 1-1.”
It was no coincidence that the second best was placed next to Eunho’s room, rather, it was Hwangho and Kim Shinrok’s doing.
He was a playable character, so unless Jo Euishin takes care of things beforehand, he’ll be involved in a very important scenario.
But since he didn’t make it to Class Zero, Eunho kept him in the room next door to monitor and observe him.
‘Cha Seokwon got a perfect score on the practical test. He did quite well on the written test too. He looks like he has good communication skills too.’
He had a good physique but a gentle impression and a friendly attitude, making it look like he was easy to talk to.
He was in Class Zero in PMH, but he doesn’t seem too bad to place in a regular section.
Eunho answered with the same social attitude as Cha Seokwon.
“You’re from the next class. Nice to meet you. I felt your energy waves though, what were you doing?”
“Ah, I was preparing a simple laboratory in my room.”
He’s setting up a lab in his room on the first day of classes?
Eunho thought it was strange, but it made sense considering that the kid was supposed to be in Class Zero.
Eunho spoke in a soft tone and said what he knew.
“If you submit documents, you can rent a laboratory in the Research District. The Jiikhoe Hall has a laboratory too, though not as great as the ones in the district.”
“Oh, is that so? I should rent there. Eungwang High must have lots of great facilities.”
Despite the information, it seems like Cha Seokwon will continue operating a lab in his dormitory room.
Eunho sharpened his nerves during the conversation while maintaining a smile on his face.
The dormitory buildings are designed to counter energy waves for the young students while they are asleep, but since the balcony was open, it was possible to get a glimpse inside.
He couldn’t figure out exactly what experiment he was doing, but Eunho detected an unstable atmosphere.
If he had to compare it, it felt like a flask with flammable substances was near an alcohol lamp.
‘I heard that the Class Zero kids are planning to cause trouble in the dormitory building today. Wouldn’t it be dangerous to have this kind of laboratory next to me?’
Eunho felt a strange excitement from the students in Class Zero.
They all held a certain book and a data chip, sharing information.
It was actually the crazy story about the “energy of the universe” scattered by Woo Kihwan’s group.
The kids seemed to be impressed by the book and the Class Zero seniors’ activities.
When such influenced people are brought together, strange accidents would flow naturally.
— I heard that the Class 2-0 seniors caused trouble on the first day.
— Shouldn’t we do something too?
— It was hard to get into Class Zero this time. Among the three sections, the third graders are considered the worst. Let’s steal that title.
There was not a single word of spite among the children, just pure excitement.
They wanted to be problematic for questionable reasons.
And so, the Class 1-0 students planned something for the dorm students.
Eunho came up with a great reason to excuse himself before getting caught up in the plan.
— There’s a kid from our class who isn’t here yet. She must’ve gotten lost. I’ll look for her.
Yoon Yeorang lost her way after the ceremony at the Sangin Hall.
Eunho, who knew how many people there were in their class, immediately found out and left to avoid being caught up in the commotion.
The Class 1-0 kids didn’t show apathy to Gong Cheonghwon, but it was clear that this would bother him.
‘It’s not hard to cover up stuff at this stage, but it’s foolish to antagonize the kids on day one.’
Even though he’s much stronger, these are high school students.
Making enemies for Eunho will only cost him in the future.
He decided to sit and watch first.
No matter what happened, he knew that Shinin Gong Cheonghwon wouldn’t get hurt by the kids’ mischief.
‘Gye Idam is the current chairman of Jiikhoe.’
Eunho knew that Gye Idam was Gye Sangjung in the previous world.
He recalled the times they met in the past.
He wanted Gye Sangjung to be miserable forever, but the man managed to come here with great luck.
To think that he’s starting a new life in a world where people support him and lead him…
Eunho didn’t like Gye Idam, but he didn’t intend to actively do anything about him.
As long as he’s connected to the transcendent universe, he might be of use to Jo Euishin.
‘Let’s see how much faster he can respond than Sung Siwan last year.’
Eunho recalled that Sung Siwan flew with his air board toward the place of the accident last year.
Perhaps Gye Idam won’t get a chance to step up, but if he doesn’t do his job properly, it’ll be a legitimate reason for impeachment.
Doesn’t Jo Euishin wish for that too?
After organizing his thoughts, Eunho spoke to Cha Seokwon.
“You don’t have enough safety equipment in your room. Do you have items to use for defense?”
“I’m going to do a simple experiment today, so I didn’t really prepare much.”
“I’ll give you what I made then.”
“Oh, really? I should get you something later on too.”
Eunho specialized in making items, and he had several consumable items on him just in case.
Giving this item would keep Jo Euishin’s playable character safe no matter what.
He greeted Cha Seokwon one last time before closing his window.
And after what seemed to be a few minutes, an explosion was heard from the room next door.
* * *
Tiger mansion, dining room.
Kim Shinrok arrived after completing investigations of an explosion in the dormitory building.
Eun Seoho and Eun Iho each asked about the details.
“The dorm kids said they were going to do something. That must be it!”
“But why did you mention the second-best from Class 1?”
“The explosion happened in that student’s room.”
“Oh, so the ghost-shaped mannequins made by the kids were for that one.”
The room where the explosion occurred is Cha Seokwon’s room, my playable character.
And Eunho is right next door.
Eunho didn’t get involved because the dormitory was well-equipped, and Cha Seokwon wasn’t hurt because he had a defensive item with him.
And so we talked about the explosion throughout dinner.
Eun Seoho and Eun Iho couldn’t stop talking about the students who were involved in the explosion.
After Eun Seoho and Eun Iho finished talking, we listened to how Eun Jaeho’s day went.
“There were snacks given as soon as we got there. Another kid calls the young Hwangho-nim ‘tiger,’ and I liked the flavor of the snack he got so we exchanged a bit.”
Eun Jaeho, who couldn’t intervene in the conversation earlier, finally got to say what happened during his first day of school.
He must’ve gotten close to my playable character.
Even after dinner and during tea time, the topic of conversation didn’t change.
‘It must’ve been hard for Eunho… I mean, Cheon Eunha to meet them.’
Is it a little hurtful to talk about Cheon Eunha from Class Zero?
In consideration of the childrens’ feelings, I decided not to talk about him.
Eun Jaeho was the first to feel drowsy, but they all wanted to keep talking.
“You have to go to school tomorrow. You’re not going to be absent from the second day, are you?”
With Hwangho’s words, the kids quietly returned to their rooms.
When they left, only me and the old tiger remained in the living room.
“You must have a lot you wanted to say before you go back too. You have to sleep on time, so go ahead and quickly say it.”
I brought up something I’ve been thinking about all day.
“I want to use the Replay function to Sung Gukeon sunbaenim and Jeon Muyeong sunbaenim.”
In the spring, the start of the Sung Gukeon assassination scenario draws near.

Thanks for the chapter…
Even with just a few skip days… I’m missing this so much. Praise m̶r̶.F̶o̶o̶l̶ ms.Aira!!
ps. I’m on the low mood due to re-reading Grimgar vol.18 and 19, so this is the cure that I needed the most.
not much to say today, but I bet that the teacher and board directors regretted their decision not to put the freshmen 2nd rank in class 0.
A mad scientist is coming.
another note. Eunho was plotting something to make Euishin stay permanently in the tiger’s den… haha, scary

Thanks for the update! Are you feeling okay, translator Aira? Its been a while, so i just want to reiterate how much I appreciate what you do for us. Ex Rank means so much to me, and I think you contributed to that. Take care of yourself. Praise ms. Aira! Anyways, I love Eunho with all my heart, but this is at least a bit strange. Like, moving into a friends house after they move out just because they lived there? Stalker shit. I mean, we been knew Eunho was a Yandere, but still. Well, I guess if you can choose any dorm you want… Sigh.
